So, how do you like this photo?

Technical quality is a bit suspect (maybe because it's just a web image) but a nice sense of pattern, texture, etc., no?

Now: Does it change your opinion once you know this photo was taken by a CAT?

See: http://www.mr-lee-catcam.de/index.htm

Okay, so the cat doesn't choose the decisive moment, but this is certainly an intriguing take on the notion of "street photography." (And if the owner could figure out a way to blow up the images to about 6 x 9 feet, Mr. Lee probably would be able to get a gallery show and a feature story in an art magazine...)

Good ca(t)pture! Well seen.

Anyhoo, this does change some perspective, doesn't it?

They should get one for Oscar so he can document his activities.

Meh, I didn't see anything in it before knowing a cat took it, and still don't.

The human mind is trained to look for patterns wherever we can...

Honestly? I've been generally known to be harsh and dry on some forums, including dpreview. That'S because I've always been very honest.

That particular photo is ugly and bland. Uninteresting. The "pattern and texture" are not a functin of the photograph but a function of the scene, thanks to the architect (not thanks to the photographer).
The problem is that 99% of the photos we see on the net are of that quality and people persist to give good comments on such.

The pic is bad and I'm not surprised it's a Cat that shot it. What surprises me is that if you passed the picture as your picture, there would have been a few Bozos giving you praise.

Maybe we can take up a collection and get him an M8.

But I have to agree, it's all very interesting once seen as a series.

Hmm, I'm looking through the galleries right now, and it's pretty interesting to see a day in the life of a cat.

I thought, OK, I'll bite (or scratch)...I'm disappointed the cat doesn't shoot film... but maybe I'm being a pur-r-r-ist.
