Here... I'm showing my age. I used to watch Batman & Robin when the ABC TV series was (gasp!) new... I was 7 at the time, and I watched the episodes dubbed in Spanish, and probably a few months old only.
Why this preview? It has to do with the very funny text in this auction. Check it out and, if you're my age, laugh! :D

Ouch! Somehow, not quite camp enough. But still good for a laugh.
I still think the lens without mushrooms was the best. For those who never follow PP&I, there was a fellow in Spain who was trying to sell a camera and lens (Fujica as I remember), and used a translation program of some type, from Spanish to English. It translated a lack of fungus on the lens to a lack of mushrooms.

And I ordered my camera lens with cheese and bacon only!

And they say these things are very tasty! They can fetch some very nice prices in the Madison Farmerīs Market...

Francisco,
Do they fetch fancy prices with or without lens? :D
I don't think I know that mushroom, although I may have eaten some when I was growing up in MO. My mother used to like mushrooms in season. My wife cooks a lot of mushrooms that are very tasty. We get them at the local Korean market store.
This April Fools Day ought to be a fun one, with THIS group.

oftheherd, for tastier effects, the best is to de-lens the fungus and cook it in Rodinal at slow flame. :p

De-lens it? Why didn't I think of that? No wonder it always had an odd taste.
And Rodinal is good. I always wanted to try pyro but most stores don't carry it even in the gormet section. sigh. :o
