View Full Version : Leica M8 with the classic 50mm f3.5 Elmar
I just picked a 50mm Elmar f3.5 1948 vintage for my M8. I read somewhere this is the lens that made Leica and want to know if it's true. Indeed it is. The lens is extremely compact and beautiful in its own way. The images from it have the Leica "glow" that people talk about . Attached are some examples I got. Enjoy !
Can you collapse it without damaging anything? (Note, if you haven't tried it please don't do it just because I asked :D )
My pics exceeded the required size and I'm too lazy to resize them. you can check my other thread
