Hi there (posted this on APUG too - no response yet)

Setting up a darkroom again after some years and have just recently acquired an LPL 3301D, for the princely sum of AU$5! And it comes with all the bits - neg carrier, lens, filter draw (I also have a set of multigrade filters). This model looks to be identical to the Beseler Cadet II. I will mainly be using it for 5x7s and the occasional 10x8 B&W print. I also have a Fujinon EP 3.5/50 lens which I plan on using (which fits).

I have not made any prints yet but was wondering if anyone has used one? It's not as big or as sturdy as enlargers I have used in the past, so, I'm interested to hear about its general capabilities. I imagine using it on a flat and sturdy surface will also help with possible vibrations.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks

Andrew

Give it a shot.. At AU$5, it can suck and still be a great buy.
