Some results from my battered OM-1 kit (the 1.8 lens, $8 :) ) I've never used an SLR before...it's interesting. Focus really pops, very fuzzy/marching ant-type look when no focus...could this be an updated screen? And I do enjoy the barrel-mounted shutter speeds. All in all, a really fun and cheap little diversion. This is Fuji Superia 400, all wide open.

Some really nice shots there.
The Zuiko lenses are just gorgeous.

Wow, great shots. They all have a sort of pop to them, a bit like you get from Pentax Limited lenses. Is this all down to the glass, or have they had much PP in software?
Oh, and the last one is hilarious. Really nicely caught.

Taken at the Port Of Brisbane the other day amongst the shipping containers.

I added a few more pics to the set, this time kodak 800 something, and I used ND filters outside.

Welcome to Zuiko Nation.

I love those Zuiko lenses.
they are very good.
Good cameras, good lenses, good pictures. I used a friend's OM-1 for a couple of weeks in 1974, and the shutter ring had me, well, going in circles.
Keith, did you use a filter in the second or just exposed for sky and clouds?

The sun was dropping below the containers so I was on the shadow side ... and did expose for the sky as well. A bit of fiddling was needed in post processing. It's quite gothic for an industrial scene!
