It's a tradition for me to take a studio/style shot of any new camera I get which I finally got around to doing. If you have seen in the other thread this is a modified FT (at least we know for sure there was a hot shoe added).

Naw cuz it'll be my luck the last person I kill will have autobidder turned on, and besides I'd have to actually pay for it then.

I took a real chance bidding on the one I bought, as the photo showed it looking filthy dirty. But careful study of the pic revealed no scratches dings or dents under what looked like loose dirt. Have no idea why the seller didn't clean it up before the photo session. But it came in at $59, and was easily cleaned since the dirt was just powder from the dried adhesive of the liner of its leather case.

An apparently identical item described as "mint" went for $325 on eBay 6/23/06. Much less common than even the uncommon f/4 version.

It's a very useful little lens!
