I spoke with two Rangefinder-owners @ the Edit Festival Eindhoven. One had a silver Leica M8 and the other a black Hexar.

Any chance you guys hang around here on the forum too?

This was my first real gig as a photographer for the dutch music site 3voor12/Eindhoven. Unfortunally there was no time to use my Bessa R, since all photos were put online as soon as the band had finished (so I used a Nikon D50). Well, that was the goal anyway. Had a great time.

Drats! I don't know how I could have missed that one. It's only 5km from where I live.. and it's free! Well, maybe next year..

Did I "spoke" to you???

Non-native English speaker.
I'd like to see you form a proper phrase in Dutch. :)

Hey, I'm human, I make mistakes.

It's very kind of you to point out grammatical errors, buit it would be even nicer if you told me what I should have written.

In that way one might learn from his mistakes.

I know where he's from. I live in Holland too. :) I also know that though most Dutch people speak English better than most English speakers speak Dutch, but that we're not native speakers. And grammar can be a little difficult at times. I've been speaking English on a daily basis for the past 15 years and I'm rather fluent. Yet, even I often have to think how to form my sentences when writing them down.

Live and let live, I say. :)

yes the first guy was rude, I was pointing out that he spoke English as a second language and may well speak even more languages than that.

As for his "error" I have seen English as a first do the same thing. THEY deserve being ragged on not someone who is writing in a second language.

almost everybody speaks more than one language EXCEPT Americans, we are sorely lacking in that area. We should all at least speak Spanish as well as English

Hey guys... Have you noticed that this thread is heading towards a direction I did'nt ment it to go. So let's quit.

Anyway, it looks like the two guys I met aren't RFF-members.
