I am in dilema about hanging my big 20" x 30" b&w portraiture in exibition. The visitors can be very close to the pics. Canvas, as defined for now, are really prints using plotter on plastic media canvas like patterned. The canvas is nailed on wooden frames backside and the images can flow free on the frames, or not, if I wish. What is your opinion about the idea?

I have a couple of photos that I have put on canvas using Snapfish.com I think they look good from a normal viewing distance.

I'm sure you could also apply Liquid Light (or other light-sensitive liquid) directly to a canvas and make a wet print on the canvas. I'd be interested to see how the chemicals would react with the density of canvas relative to RC or FB paper.

Thanks erikhausgsby. I will email the files and get them back ready home, but the idea to be close to the process makes me rethink the idea

Of course, my suggestion would really only be valid if you have a darkroom at your disposal.
