Canon ip9500 printer

The Canon ip9500 is the newest printer in the Canon Pro line. It has just been released, after a delay of more than a year. Has anyone used this printer yet? I am particularly interested in its performance as a black and white printer. Alternatively I would be open to other suggestions for a high quality, didicated B&W printer.

FYI, the May issue of the Black and White Photography magazine (from UK) reviews the HP B9180 for its ability to print good B/W photos. The review as I recall is favorable, the interesting thing for me is the printer uses archive-quality pigment inks and one of them is a *grey* ink.
