....... back from D&P today.

I was lucky to pick this up. I had put out a request on the local Freecycle group (like Graiglist but all free) for any old cameras and I got a reply from a local lady who said to come down and see her father as he was moving home due to not be being able to get around any more.

So when I got there, waiting for me was nice big box with ZORKI-4K, ZENIT EM, KODAK Folder and a whole load of M42 Lenses and lights and other bits and bobs.

The ZORKI-4K works like a good 'un and doesn't need any adjustment whatsoever. The shutter is firing correctly at all speeds and there are no light leaks. I'm in hog heaven!

Of the 4K the only thing that I didn't like was the original covering. It was in really goof condition but I felt it made the camera look dull so I replaced it with a Wine-Red snakeskin-effect leather kit from Aki-Asahi. It now looks outstanding!

Sorry for the large image size!

Forgot to say that the exposure was by guesswork (Sunny-16) only.
The indoor portrait one of the scary bloke was took at 1/8th sec f2. Hence the slight amount of camera shake.

Quite a nice find. The photos are very good. My first sunny 16 attempts after comeing back to film were all overexposed. Nice sharp images. I'd like to see the Zorki in it's new suit.
