Will be there, hope I can make it on Friday. Too bad everything is way over priced at these things, but there is always a lot to look at. Maybe I'll take the digicam and post some examples of the silly prices.

I'll see what I can do, it's dangerous to get too close to those old guys when they are pulling out huge bricks of cash to pay for a lens hood or some such trifle.

Actually it wasn't as insane as other shows I'd been to in Ginza. It was a bit tight to take photos and the prices were mostly a joke as usual. Nikon s2's with 50 mm were priced at between 100,000 and 200,000 yen.

So I did get one photo, and I guess the prices aren't outrageous considering they are for a bird in the hand instead of an ebay crap shoot.

Everything you could possibly imagine for leica was available if you were willing to cough up silly cash.

In fact they had a pretty incredible collection of accessories there as well, saw some nice hoods and filters for Contax G2 lenses for 2500-3000+ yen.

105,000 yen for a Nikon S3 including lens is not bad at all, better than ebay prices for sure.
Thanks for sharing.

I planned on getting in there, but in the end didn't make it. I did go through Shibuya last Saturday, but after a day of b'day present and omiyage shopping in Shinjuku I was too beat to go look at cameras. Maybe next year ....
