View Full Version : 28 mm fixed lens rangefinder
I was wondering if there is out there fixed lens rangefinder with 28mm focal length. I've done some searches without finding anything... Any suggestion?
Nikon 28Ti (I *think* it has a rangefinder but it's autofocus)

I agree. If I were to choose one camera with a fixed 28 mm lens, it would be the Nikon 28Ti. The lens is f/2.8 & it's excellent. It's comparable to the Contax T2 & the Leica CM or others in the Minilux series but neither of these offer a 28 mm lens. Not a rangefinder, uses an infrared autofocus system. But it's not an SLR, so no mirror slap & separate viewfinder window makes it excellent for low light viewing. Build quality is superb.

With 28mm you don't really need a RF... scale focus will do...
whoops. everything from the xa2 on has scale focus only.
