Brand new, but no Passport (up until I found that out from the seller I was very tempted...)
Not quite free with a box of microsoft software yet.
What did seller say about sale of goods act?

£2115 =~ USD$ 4020
For a *new* M8? Hmm. I smell a rodent.
My, my, I like to fantasize about a wonderful deal for a Leice too. It's the stuff GAS dreams are made of.
He's not a Leica dealer so couldn't sign the Passport. Also has listed some high-end binoculars. Stuff he picked up in Italy apparantly. Legit by the looks of it
The whole Sale of Goods Act thing is an interesting one. EU law as I understand it allows you to request a refund if electronics (or pretty much anything else) goes wrong almost indefinitely. I recently got Tesco to give me a brand new Xbox360 after it had died after about 16 months of use, compare that to the three months MS offer in the US...

I think I will be the one who purchased M8 at lowest price ever.
I will know more next week and I will upload picture when I get them.
I think a better question would be, how much under retail price makes it worthwhile to mess with getting around Leica's non-transferable warranty in the event service is needed. For me to buy one other than new from an authorized dealer, it'd have to be at least a third off ($3600 in the US).
He has another for sale...
