I need a new scanner. I'm looking very hard at this one. Can anyone give me an idea of how it does with 35mm B&W film and also 6x9 negatives? I won't need to print from these scans, but I do want something high quality.
I havn't been able to get it to work out frame spacing on 6x9 negs (the first is ok, but the second is not). But as 6x9 strips are only two frames long I just rotate them through 180 degrees and that is fine.
A minor annoyance.
35mm is good, not as sharp as my Nikon V, but I'm happy with 8x10.

It's a good review.

I won't be printing from the scans so it just has to be web quality. The reason I want a flatbed is that I plan to scan prints once I can make them here myself and I want something that will work for that as well as 35mm film scans.
For prints and web quality film scans it's super overkill.
Save your money and get something cheaper ! :)
Most of my gallery was scanned with one:

Not done 6x9, but 6x6 is fine, the holders are a but fiddly and flimsy but they work. For 35mm it's good for prints up to A3, the largest I've done. They look great.

I think I'm going to keep my eye out for a refurbished one. Looks like the scanner for me.
