anyone knows what happens when you shoot 120 but the back plate is on 220?

I have a GSW90ii

The film plane is off by just enough to make you photos not tack sharp. If you shot closed down quite a bit it might have helped but your focal point was not accurate as 220 has no paper backing and 120 does, the film plate compensates and adjusts for that.

I was 14 shots through a roll of 160VC 220 in a Fuji GA645 when I realized that I forgot to change the pressure plate to 220. I immediately wound through the film so as to not risk taking any more pics that would end up looking soft. I was fairly shocked when I got the roll back and saw that all of the pics were still tack sharp. Most were probably shot around f8, so that might have something to do with it.
