Rolleiflex Bay II - which TLRs will it fit?
i recently found som old Bay II filters (B&W soft focus, original Rollei IR filter and ND 4, as well as a colour adapter)... any idea which Rolleiflex or other TLRs these will fit on? they don't fit on my 2.8D (Bayonet III) or my 3.5E (Bay I?)
all are in excellent condition... how much are they worth??? are they worth ebaying or shall i offer them up for sale here?
advice/thoughts appreciated...
If you have a 3.5E, it takes Bay II filters. (At least mine does.)

John - hmmm weird.. according to the serial it's a 3.5E but the bay ii's don't fit... i'll have to double check... thanks for the suggestion...
Interesting - I wonder if it isn't a frankenstein...where someone took parts from 3.5E to repair some other type.
Just to reassure myself, I got out the owner's manual for my 3.5E - yep, it's a Bay II for both the Planar and Xenotar.
What kind of taking lens is on your Rollei?
I have a Rolleiflex 3.5E with 75mm Planar that takes bayonette II lens accessories.

hmm.. i think mine has been hacked... it was given to me to try to fix... must be a frankenstein.. it's got a 75/3.5 Tessar serial indicates that it's a 3.5E.. oh well... in any case i have Bayonette II stuff that i'll have to sell as my 2.8D definitely won't take the BayII filters...
cheers,
Ken
Yup, the Tessar is a giveaway - Bay I. Sweet little lens, though! Krikor Maralian told me there are tons of Rollei's out there with mixed and matched parts - a friend of mine has a 2.8E with a dollop of F bits.
If you decide to sell the Bay II stuff, drop me a PM.

monochromejrnl : well, your 3.5E definitely isnt one. What does it look like? Do you set the speed and aperture with wheels or with a coupled lever? Might be a 3.5B (MX-EVS) or C, or T in the second case... Just post a photograph, it's always interesting to show one's camera!
Are you reading the serial # off the lens ? If so, that will not tell you the body type..
