Freestyle used to call the house-rolled delta 'arista pro' until I guess the word got out..
I love freestyle. Be sure to get some lucky 100 on your order too.

Looks like they only take credit cards, but they do have a handy table of shipping charges for Canada. If you don't have a credit card, well how can you NOT have a credit card?

believe it or not, i travel the world without a credit card!
i may have to borrow a friends and then just pay them back.
16 bucks parcel post shipping charges to canada.

After Blake's recommendation (thanks again !) I bought Superia 400 from them, for US 1.99
per 36 roll, and everything went very well !
Don't know if they ship to Canada though.

Or you can get that paypal debit card that they keep pushing..
that way you still don't really have credit card, but you can buy stuff online just as if you did. Heck you may already have a debit card and forgot about it.. does your atm card have a master card or visa symbol on it?
Your bank should do a debit card, they normally come with a master card or visa ikon, (icon) so they can mascarade as a credit when you want.

Freestyle used to call the house-rolled delta 'arista pro' until I guess the word got out..
IIRC, it actually went pear-shaped when Ilford restructured. I think that it was a combination of things, including Freestyle's need for a new and reliable source, and the 'new' Ilford, not wanting to feed the 'house-labels' anymore. That said, I got a bunch of leftover bulk rolls of the rebranded D-100 from Freestyle about a year ago for something like $17USD a roll:D
And Joe,
I've ordered extensively from Freestyle and found that the shipping to the Great White North is both fast and reasonably priced, so if you make a big order, it works out great.

does ecamerafilms.com state that their film is fresh? I couldn't find out if it did or not.

I don't know how they can sell film at such a great price.
I sell Delta 100 35mm 36 ex for Canadian $7.20 and the Delta 400 at $7.50 a roll.
And I know my mark-up isn't that high.

Joe- I find B&H almost always has if not the best price, one thhat is pretty close, and they ship cheaply.- as hard as they can be to deal with on the phone the website works well- I don't know about shipping across the border, but the regular UPS 3 day is cheap and 2 days to me here (2 hrs from Montreal)
$4.59 US for the 400 & $4.39 US for the 100.
The fuji Acros 100 is a really beautiful film- and has incredible reciprocity if you ever get into night shots.

Ah, you've had a 'Fed Ex Ground moment' with UPS then- UPS or Fed Ex regular are the only ones that work here.

I'm certainly no fan of Mr. Brown - but if that's how a vendor ships something I want - I don't see the what's to gain by not using them.

I won't speak for Joe, but as a fellow Canuck, if his experience with UPS is anything like mine, any retailer using UPS is automatically stricken off.
It's pure economics; when one is obliged to pay the UPS 'Brokerage' fees, a reasonably priced item from across the border, it generally ends up being absurdly expensive.
The first time I got burned? A $30USD darkroom timer which cost an additional $20USD in 'brokerage' fees.
UPS brokerage fees for shipments to Canada (and presumably other countries) is a crock. They don't do SQUAT for that fee, it is pure and simple a cash grab.
Anyone who wants to ship stuff to me and have me bring it to the GTA, just let me know. I can't promise a schedule, of course, but if it's not time-sensitive, I'm game. I can reship to other areas in Canada, of course, but that's your dime, so it would have to make sense in terms of additional costs.
And I'm not trying to horn in on Rob's honest efforts to make a buck. Recently out of date b&w, especially bulk rolls, makes sense if you can get a good deal; then the Trius Delivery service makes sense. :D
Hey everyone,
Here is my list that I made in Dec '06 on B&W and B&W Bulk to compare to '07 Q2 prices.
