OK. I know Dual Range Summicrons will NOT fit on an R2 body.

Is this a DR 'cron w/o 'eyes'?

Yes it is, Scott... You can see the flat mounting point for the goggles, with the ball-detent. I didn't know these wouldn't fit an R2...

It must be the secondary cam coupling on the back of the lens. That other Summicrons do not have that. It would extend farther into the camera than a standard lens, and may cause the problem.
