View Full Version : Results from 1st Rodinal soup-session...
I developed in Rodinal, 1:100 for 12 minutes at 68 degrees.
Better than HC-110, I think. I'll continue to mess around with the dilution, time, and temp for a while, but remember, y'all, this is a work in progress...
So it goes...

nice.. Is that tmax?
Sorry for not giving all the info.....this is an ongoing quest for the perfect match for Arista's EDU 100 Ultra film. Worked with HC-110 for a while, this is the second developer in the series. Forgot to mention that I used 1 inversion every minute for agitation...
Regards!

did you do any sharpening, especially on that 2nd one? looks a bit weird to me
Very nice, Don. Sockeyed has gotten great results with Foma 100 (the equivalent of your Arista Edu ultra 100) and rodinal. Seems like a very nice combination. If you have not yet done so, check out his flickr photos.

Nope...but if you look close, the front side is in better focus than the back. Shot at 1.8, iirc, 1/30th.

BTW...could also be a product of the down-rezzing for the 'net...

HotRod and Fomapan 100. What a brilliant combo!
I use it in MF and love the results.
Great shots,
