what about the military repair guide to the M2? it has a list of problems and fixes, although some of the fixes are like 'replace part xx' .
i think the link is on nemeng.com, or do search on 'leica m2 repair manual'. it is about 24 mb though, but has exploded views of m2, very comprehensive.
