It's still serviced in Japan. Dirk Rösler / Japan Exposures can take of it for you: http://www.japanexposures.com/services/#parts

I had a very good experience having my Hexar AF serviced through him.

I think the stated date in Berliner's post needs a little revising... ;)

I'll check in with Nippon about what they can do with Hexars (both AF and RF), since they're not too far from me.

Precision has had a few "issues" in dealing with Hex RFs, but I think they've improved.
