Unusual M8 question...

When the M8 is turned OFF, are there any possible problems which could result from storing the camera in a tight space which will put pressure on the shutter release button?

It is indeed an unusual question, but if the power button is off; it should not be a problem.

I would think that the worst that could happen would be that you'd be compressing the a small spring under the release button which *might* reduce it's ultimate longivity. However, I doubt that you'd be using the M8 any more by the time that happened - perhaps your grandchildren ...
