View Full Version : New Books
Koudelka (http://www.amazon.com/Koudelka-Robert-Delpire/dp/1597110302/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-7460822-3845509?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174999122&sr=8-1) has recently been released. Any get a copy. I have Chaos and the Torst book - I'd like to know if there are a good amount of photos in this book not shown in those two.
I just got a nice hardbound copy of The Nature of Photographs (http://www.amazon.com/Nature-Photographs-Stephen-Shore/dp/071484585X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-7460822-3845509?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174999348&sr=8-1) , just released. The classic had gotten very expensive and it is nice to see a reprint.
It would be nice to see a forum section for books...
Would love a forum for books! Photobooks are such an inspiration.
Me too. Ray the Koudelka book is awesome, I have Exiles and there is some overlap but this book has stuff I have never seen before - a must buy if you are a Koudelka fan.
He is in NYC signing the book next week, see the link below:

Thanks. I will go ahead and order it. Too bad I can't go to NYC that night.
It's a great book, absolutely essential.

For those who were unable to attend the Koudelka talk/signing, see the link below. You can download an mp3 file of his talk - the file is 70MB but worth it.

Just ordered this book as well. Amazon has the book at 37% off:

I think this is the book to get if you are only going to get one of his books. It is kind of like a retrospective. Plus at the moment it is being sold at an excellent price. Although Koudelka is an icon, his publications seem to have a short life span and the prices become ridiculous very quickly. The good news on that front is that I believe Aperture are to reissue Exiles.

I got this book today. It would be great for anyone who doesn't have any Koudelka books, but I have two, Chaos and the little FotoTorst book. There's quite a bit of duplication, and the images from Chaos pale incomparison to the same images in Chaos (which has gorgeous printing!). It does have some neat fold-out pages to accommodate a few of the images from Chaos, which is a BIG book.
Oh, I like the "Experiments" section. I've never seen most of those images.
