Trouble editing photo in gallery

I attempted to edit a photo in my gallery by substituting a better scan. Now when I click on the thumbnail, this picture doesn't expand to its full size.

What is going on? Did I miss something?

Jon, I'd try it again - click on 'edit', select the update option & browse for the photo, it *should* work.

I tried a few things again. Gave up and deleted and reposted. Works now. I think the thumbnail just wouln't give up the original file, even after I renamed the replacement to match the original.
