Hey I have the same problem too!
I can choose a picture and select upload. The next screen should be a bulk loading page, but I keep getting a blank black screen instead.

When I click and drag over the area there is actually a black text message on the black background hence it can't be seen.

The error message is this

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagegif() in /usr/local/www/htdocs/photopost/image-inc.php on line 117

What's happening?

Please help

Nick

Odd, I know nothing of the innards there, but the usual things suggested are clearing your cookies and temp files, also, which browser/version are you using... ?

Hi Nick,

I'm surprised too, first try I was able to upload and I'm using an iBook OSX and Netscape. I'd write to Jorge ....really. Do you have any things like pop up ad blockers running? Or virus scanners?

regards, Jan

Nick,

Create a new account with a new username. I will delete the old name and rename your new account afterwards.

There is no way to fix this? Really disappointed by not being able to post photos. :bang:

I have recently joined and wanted to post some photos to the gallery but have only experienced error messages.

My question is: Should files be Jpeg, Tiffs or Giffs?

My files are 600X400, is there a limit?

Any help would be appreciated,

Smudge

JPG or PNG, 600x400 is fine. :)

I created a new account and username yesterday and finally upload some images into the gallery " swelter101". Today when I wanted to add some more I got the old error message 117.

I'm using a mac with OS 10.2.8 Safari. does anyone have any suggestions.

smudge, I use same mac and safari. try emptying you cache, if it doesn't wok you may have to open a new account in the gallery (different name etc).

I have been working on a replacement. Trying to figure out how to migrate the data. I should have it done soon. You can see it here www.rangefinderforum.com/cpg

It uses the same account as the forum so there are no separate accounts to maintain.

You can chnge themes and all sorts of neet stuff. Dont give up just give me a little more time to get it working.

I have uploads turned off for now so I can continue experimenting.

I like the design for the replacement photo gallery, look forward to using it.

I will try uploading again after I get back from Costa Rica, thanks for your help.

Is the new gallery fully functional yet? I looked in to my account and found all my images missing, or maybe they haven't been migrated over from the old gallery yet.

I see your pictures. They are ther.

http://www.rangefinderforum.com/cpg/index.php?cat=12265

to see your gallery take your userid + 10000 and add it to the url . In this case Terence has a uid of 2265 .
