Vivitar 35ES infinity alignment

Just cleaned the rangefinder glass (super clear!) ...but, the RF has always been slightly off at infinity. Havnt found any good info on adjusting this. Anyone?

It may be the same as the Konica C35 and others of the same chassis. That may help with online searches.

Ive tried for Revue 400SE and konica S3 which are basically identical... no luck.

Have you tried unscrewing that screw in the back/film chamber? My C35 has a little screw underneath it.

Ive heard, havnt gotten to try it it- its loaded with tri-x as we speak. For some reason I thought it would be more complicated, I found some old post that said lift up two bits of the leatherette to find some screws, and to remove the top before you can adjust it. Dont know how accurate that is, although the screws were under the leatherette where the person stated.

Either way, I guess it might not be possible until I finish this roll.
