buy some military camouflage and wrap it around the lens - I can't help it, I just don't understand why they even came out with an olive green body - did they think the US Army would buy these for the war in Iraq?

I'm in the same boat with RF-Addict, don't understand a thing :confused: . Since my basic army service, some 20 years ago, I have a deep inner aversion against anything olive other than filled with almonds or red bell pepper :D :D .

So, we've got some ribbing on this one!
Have a look at my Hassidic Story post in Members Only :rolleyes:

I voted black... even tho' I'm in the minority. I had a look in CQ at the lens
lineup showing black and chrome, side by side. It is a matter of aesthetics
and personal taste... Somehow I feel that a black lens looks better on an
olive R2 body.

I am using the Olive R2 which I like it a lot. In fact, I chose the Olive on purpose. Too many ppl have the R2 in black. Simply a personal choice:p
