Or maybe something like it?

Almost looks like it's a fast, single focal length lens. But I imagine it's probably a zoom.

I am not sure but it's probably DP 1: a 16mm f4 lens with APS sized CCD enclosed in nice metal body. It will be cool wideangle P&S but definetly not RF
Jaap, is this a trick question??
It's the Sigma DP1. It's not a rangefinder. Looks a lot like the GRD in that outfit.

Digital it is, a rangefinder it is not. More of those "large CCD 28mm point and shoots with shoe-mounted viewfinders" by sigma.

I wish Leica would have added a shoe mounted vf for the D-Lux 3.
FWIW. I think there's already a thread on this topic, HERE (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37658), that is several pages long. Same camera, no? :)

A couple of days ago, there was a thread with a kitbashed external finder on a D-Lux3: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=509942
