First of all, as a newbie to this forum, Hi.
I have a Jupiter 11 135/4 which needs a good clean internally. I have found plenty of info (including photo-by-photo details of stripping/repair) for other Jupiter lenses, however none for the J11.
Has anyone on this forum stripped one of these ? If so, does the disassembly differ from the other Jupiter lenses in any way ?
Hope someone can help,
Pete

Hello Peter, I'm not an expert at all at opening lenses. But maybe it would be helpful if you'd let us know if your lens is in LTM screw mount, or in Kiev-Contax bayonet mount. I somehow suspect the lens to be in screw mount, but it might help those more knowledgeable than me :)
Welcome aboard, by the way!

Hi Peter,
You may be referring to the PDF files I produced for the other LTM Jupiters and the Orion. There isn't one for the J11 because nobody has sent me one to do. ;)
As you are in the UK, the postage shouldn't be very much. So if you want me to have a look at it, I can do a service and check the collimation and then I can complete the set.

First off, welcome Peter.
I've just got a J11 in need of some TLC too, the focussing is in need of a re-lube. I did some searching and only found the bayonet mount instructions, so I'll be very interested to see if anyone knows of LTM ones. Failing this, I'll be having a (careful) poke around myself!
