Hi all!
I just developed my second or third roll from my FED2. I used both my J12 and my Industar-50 Collapsible Lens. Well the negatives for the 35 are normal, but the ones for the I-50 are rounded, smaller in size than a regular 35mm negative is. Am I doing something wrong? Does this sound familiar to amyone? I can put a scan of the negative tomorrow, its still drying!
Any thoughts welcome!
Nancy
could you post some pics of your negatives. maybe you didnt pull out completely your lens when shooting.

Ok here is the shot!
Just a thought, is that from the I-50? Did you remember to un-collapse it?<grin> I've done it before and makes a change from forgetting the lens cap.

Remove Ind from camera, pull out front to greatest extent and then twist front until the three wedge lugs mate with the their counterparts.
When mounting and removing the Ind you need to lock in the (this) photo position and set to near focus and then unscrew or unscrew, this reduces the exposure to the rangefinder follower arm that does not like an ocassional thump from the lens.
When pulling out the lens take care to avoid the lugs hitting the rangefinder arm...
I frequently accidently unlock the wedges...

Hi Nancy..
The fact that the shot is out of focus also points to the lens not being fully extended..
Happy shooting!
Lee.
