Great news.
Finding AP is hit and miss in my neck of the woods, but I will make an effort to search it out.

Thank you for putting them online.
Very good photos, well done.
Were they standalone photos, or to illustrate an article?

One more thing...
This must have been a very popular event. Yet I did not notice any modern day people in the photos. How did you manage that?
Paul,
Very nice work. I especially enjoyed your b&w shots. Congrats!
Bob
The event is held every year on May Bank Holiday (UK) at Ramsbottom, Lancashire. Many people join in including some of the shopkeepers in the area, getting dressed in clothes of the day, both civilian and miltary. The steam trains run up and down the line and there are military vehicles on display and also a battle re-enactment on the railway platform. The shots were taken on two seperate occaisions. Not always easy to avoid getting other visitors in view but if you get in close it's not too bad. This set of five shots was printed as a double page portfolio.
