A friend just brought me back a 3-pack of Fuji Natura 1600. Anyone have experience with this emulsion and can recommend a film rating?

My instinct is that it is not a true 1600ISO...so maybe I'd shoot it at 1250 or 1000.

Thanks in advance...

Its best shot between 800 to 1000

First, as a nit pick, ASA is an outdated term. It's ISO.

You might be able to eek out 1000 in some developers, but 800 is closer, indeed.

My Natura camera may have a synch/shutter problem. I get black parts in the images. Maybe using a highspeed film is the answer tonot using the flash.
