I got a (new for me) 28 f/2.8 Rokkor-M on the bay two weeks ago, spent all of last week photographing with it. Our school put on a nice week-long winter celebration over the week and I decided that Major Tom (my 20D) was used far too much for sports so I whipped out Sidnee and used her almost exclusively with the 28. Being the photoeditor on the yearbook sure gets you into a lot of places for free :p

and 28 is a great focal length :D

Great shots! My favorite lens, 28mm. I have them in Minolta slrs and a Bessa Color Skopar.

Really well-defined with great color, without being harsh or edgy. Thanks for posting. Not very usual to see photos made with this lens.

Not very usual to see photos made with this lens.

I noticed this in my pre-purchase searchings. There seem to be a number of positive reviews of it but I saw very few images from it...but I'm still happy.

Yes, the 28mm Rookor really "rokks". Good stuff you have posted here. This lens is 100% Leica quality. Here are four shots I once posted:

The thing I like best about this lens is that it doesn't look like a wide lens--the first two shots are uncropped and the third only slightly cropped.
