about 1 out of every 50 pictures my file gets corrupt and my computer cannot read it. is this a known problem? i took about 150 pictures today and 4 pictures were corrupt and unreadable.

I've had one picture out of over 2000 that I could not open. Until now it never occured to me that it could be the camera- however your "hit" rate is higher so perhaps it's an SD card thing.

i'm guessing its the sd card too. i have a slow card remember? and because i only have one battery right now, i have this habit of turning the camera off, before the buffer has 'buffed' everything into the card. now i don't think turning the camera off stops the buffing, as you still see the blinking of the LED even if you switch the camera off, but i think it does somtimes affect the card... OR i'm guessing the camera was being shaken too much while the card was still being written ever so slowly?
either way i need a faster card and some extra batteries fast!
