anyone figured how to add or change an avatar yet?
i have been trying my darndest but i'm havin' no luck!!

Under User CP, you'll find "Edit avatar", I changed mine yesterday with no problem.

edit avatar is there, i know but how does it work?

Joe , go to http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/usercp.php? , click on edit avatar on the side panel to the left side of the screen. You're in and you can upload a new avatar.

I thinkl the size limit is 120 x 120 pixels.

i'm starting to lose my cool here.
i know about the edit avatar button on the user cp.
when i hit it, i get another little screen that shows my current avatar along with 2 buttons. NOTHING HAPPENS when i hit either one.
so i'm kinda stuck.
i can't get more clear than that and that is why i'm asking for EXACTLY what you guys are doing.

hmm sorry about that. when you get to the page you'll see a white lozenge shaped radio button click it. then select your photo , then click the bottom lozenge shaped button that sez "save changes" ....... that does it for me , good luck Joe.

yeah, this is working out just great!
i see no lozenge radio button.
there are 2 buttons--one says save changes the other says reset fields.
reset fields does nothing.
click on quick links at the top of the page.
click on edit avatar
click on browse, to look in your computer for the avatar you want
click on Use custom avatar if its not already selected
click on save changes.
send me $1.00

there is no browse
when i click on custom avatar nothing happens

that's not what i see.
i only have the top part of that screen not the bottom part.
i knew i wasn't crazy.

i know.
it's been almost that long since i've watched a movie.
shooting and this forum have changed my priorities and consume most of my free time.
it takes time to moderate a great forum like this.
