what a great looking lens i got in the mail today!
nice and compact and i love the view in the finder.
it's already on the om1.

and on a sadder side note...i just realized that my last walk in the cold with the om1 and 28-48 lens was all for nought...no film in the camera - doh!!

so, i'm thinking about a good kit...maybe 28 or 35 along with the 100 and 180/2.8, lean & mean

I'd love to see some shots from the 180 and the 100, cause I might change to an OM-4 and those two are on my list (besides a 50 1.4 and a 28 2.8)

Congrats on your purchase. I love my 100/2.8 - it's almost permanently attached to an OM body. I think the 100 and a 35/2.8 makes a great combination.

Apparently a good kit includes film...

That is a very good lens. And I mean VERY good. But to make pictures there has to be film on the camera. It's not THAT good. ;)

Those little film windows in the back of cameras were a good innovation, I think!

My old OM "off duty" kit was a pair of OM1ns with 24/2.8 and 100/2.8 lenses. That 100 was great!
