Hey guys,Im new here and I just acquired a Minolta AL/F on eBay but the lens is stuck at f/22. I would like to fix it myself, but I dont know how. If you guys could give me a hand that would be great!
Thanks.

Are you sure it's actually stuck? Manual-focus Minolta lenses (MD anyway) have a lock on the smallest aperture since it's required in shutter-priority and program modes. Could this be the problem, or something related? Ignore me if I'm talking rubbish, since I'm not familiar with your exact camera...

I dont actually have the camera yet, I just won the auction. so I havent been able to play with it yet. Not to mention I've never seen a lens or camera like this.
Thanks for the help.

Well, no offense, but it isn't much help to ask for help without knowing the details problem or actually having the problem piece in your possession.

Yeah I'm sorry, I'm just spending time now looking for solutions so when it gets here I wont have to spend so much time screwing with it and can spend more time shooting ;)
PS: I have a holga too! :P
Thanks

It's a great toy, isn't it? Shame that mine is actually a decent copy--I paid $20 for it to light leak and vignette like a sieve and it does neither well. Oh well, it's still fun to throw at people :D
