RD-1s and memory card?

I am awaiting delivery of the camera (RD-1s) and bought a 2 gig memory card. I saw somewhere that it only supported a 1 gig card. So, can I use a 2 gig card?

Yes you can.
See the R-D1s User's Guide page 45:
"External interfaces: Memory card slot (for SD memory card up to 2GB)"

Only over 2GB things get problematic. The R-D1 can only address the first 2GB.
