I'am in. This one was taken with kiev rf in November - this is my personal favorite "hope and expectation" interpretation (day before delivery).

Very symbolic and suggestive picture, Igor.
Best,

None going down, everyone going up towards the bright light... Somehow this seemed to relate to "hope and exspectation" (but I could very well understand if you don't think it's relevant, just depends on one's interpretation I suppose). Developed and scanned today, but taken a few weeks back - bessa r, uncoated j-8.
Hope to see some more entries!
Hope to stay dry and expect for best shot

hey
Title sounds like Stephanie would be the best candidate. Just make an autoportrait, Steph, and you win:D

Hi,
just to make more interpretations of the theme.
This was made this autumn, just before vintage...hope and expectations:p

BTW, is that 150KB really enough?
Here is mine,
even though I do not know if it fits the theme.

Shoot, I just missed this. Great pics, guys.
This project popped into my mind when I shot this yesterday afternoon. Too late, but here it is just for fun.

damn, I just scanned a negative that fits the theme :(
Sorry guys for being late:o . I was snowed under with work untill this morning.
There were a lot of different and interesting interpretations of the theme: expecting a good photo (IZR), looking for the way-out and hoping there's light out there (Jonaz), waiting for the master (Nico) ...etc. And finally expecting a child and hoping the best life for him: Igor, I chose your photo for this month. Hope the best for the childbirth. :)
Sorry again for the delay, and thank you guys for your interpretation of the theme.
Marc-A.
PS: sorry Ray that you were late ... as you can see, I am so too

Mark, thanks for great theme and your final choice! I liked a lot "one-way to the light" by jonasv and "faithful" by nico, I don't know what would be result be I decider :)
ManGo, your PM is answered.
Hope to see you all at February Salon.
