Will a Contax TLA200 flash fit on my Bessa R?

I'm attracted by the low profile and pretty good output of the TLA200, even though I know it won't be able to operate as a TTL-sensing unit. Does anyone know if the Contax foot will serve as a "universal" (manually operable) flash?

Same question for the Nikon SB-15...

Just tried it. Fits perfectly and snugly on my R and fires. No problem whatever.

I was referring to the TLA 200 and Bessa R only.
