M8 Problems - images, charger & battery

I've now been using my M8 for 2 weeks. I really like many aspects of the camera (you can see sample images at www.pbase.com/chris67 (http://www.pbase.com/chris67))

I am having a series of problems, though. First, the battery charger only works using the car adapter -- no luck with standard plugs. Quite inconvenient, I must tell you. The internal battery also fails to hold a charge - most of my images are coded February of 2022. My exif data makes me look like I'm taking pictures in the future.

Most worrisome, however, is are the *shocking* vertical stripes seen in about 1 in 15 images. Included. I do hope that our friends at Leica can help resolve this asap.http://www.pbase.com/chris67/image/70853860.jpg

Known problem, yours is the fourth camera that does this, but the others far less often, maybe 1 in 100 to 1 in 1000. It happens when you switch the camera on and take a shot immediately- send to Solms right away if it hinders you photography.

Jaap ... i can't imagine it does not hinder ones photography :D
Now i have another test to do .... :(
i would sent this camera back asap .. perhaps even asking for an imediate exchange with my dealer instead og going the Solms route .... or waite for a simoultanous fix at Solms with the banding issue!

wow.. that is a very telling image..I was thinking the same thing. The rainbow stripe is also interesting.
