M2 frame counter disc removal?

Now I ended up having 2 M2s, both having their flaws. I'm thinking about keeping one of them - the one with button rewind. don't ask why :o - I would need to exchange the frame counters on them (the one that I favour has one which is hardly recognizable).

Does anybody know how much dismantling is necessary to get the frame counter disc off?

The difficult part is getting the advance retainer ring off, it's tight!

Thank you very much! Great help! The ring seems really tight (and the manual says to use a special tool for removal), so I think I'll leave it before any damage is done
