Hello,
Well, I'm not a sports photographer and I wouldn't call the M8 a sports photographer's camera, but here are my shots from today's marathon:
Leica M8 at the New York City Marathon (http://web.mac.com/mac.hive/iWeb/Site/Leica%20M8%20at%20the%20New%20York%20City%20Marath on.html)
We know a couple of people who run the race so we always go out to cheer for them. Sorry, I didn't get any shots of the winners but I got a bunch of shots of Lance.
I got a couple of weird, totally overexposed, blown shots, but I kind of like the effect! :)
All of these were taken with the 50mm 1.4 ASPH. It is hard to photograph this kind of event without a long lens, I miss the 20D with the 70-200mm zoom, on these occasions..
Regards,
Larry
