I own and have frequently used the following Komura lenses, all in Leica screw thread, on a IIIG body.
28/f3.5 and finder, in original semi-hard leather "case"
90/f3.5 and,
105/f2 a trully awsome and hefty piece of glass!
All in exc++ cosmetic condition, with crystal clear coated optics and multiblade diaphragms. They were all priced in the region of£35 to £65 about ten years ago. Have only shot colour with these and the results were most satisfactory.
"If the price is right" they are a good alternative to Leica's own very expensive similar focal lengths.
Give them a try if optics are clear, and reasonably priced.
Regards
Takis

It just went above what I'm comfortable paying for used glass that I haven't seen a lot of photos from, but 36/1.8 sure sounds tempting. It's about $430 now with 2 hrs to go, plus $50 shipping from Germany to US.

Crikey, at this price why would anyone (other than collectors of third-party LTM lenses) NOT instead buy a brand-new 35/1.7 Ultron, plus a really nice dinner with the $60+ in change you'd get back?

Hey, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you too. that's way too much for a off-brand/ third party lens IMHO. Get a Canon 35/ 2 for less!

Would that bridge look anything like this one? ;)

How did the Komura 36/1.8 LTM fair?

I am very interested about finding out about those unknown fast 35mm LTM lenses ;-)
