I have been searching for 2 days. I had a binder with ALL of my negatives in the house and now its gone.

Cleaned the house after all the presents were opened and I am sick to my stomach that I can't find them.

I just had to tell someone.... :(

They just have to be around here somewhere.....

Maybe someone moved the binder? There is someone like that in my house - constantly moves everything so I can never find anything. Can't tell you who she is 'cos she may read this... ;)

Hope your binder turns up! :)

LOL!!!!!

Very, very funny!

The funny thing is that when I headed towards the Christmas stuff yesterday, she said "Hey, they are not in there. I put all the stuff away in there and I KNOW that I didn't put them there. You just miss placed them....":bang:

Mine got packed up and moved for the holidays too. I saw them on the pile though and swiped them to ensure their safe keeping.

I picked up some Print File (http://www.printfile.com/) negative holders this week and I need to get a binder. Judging by this I'll need one in fluorescent colors or maybe one that glows in the dark... :p

I use the hanging slide/negative holders that fit in a file cabinet.
Actually I have them in plastic file cabinets so that they never
get dusty and nothing can spill on them.

Peter I think it would help to have a radio responder on the binder... Something anyway that will make it announce its location on demand.

No, the wife won't let a neon binder hang around in her home. You have to go low key, and watch it like a hawk.

I got myself a nice big n' heavy retro 70's metal filing cabinet with lock for my negs and photo CDs.
I doubt that would get lost or moved by the girlfriend.

Remember those key chain devices that beeped when you clapped your hands? Sounds like just what is needed. :D

Just yesterday, my wife found (she also lost it many years ago and now we are doing a huge cleanup) an album of b&w negatives from 35 to 40 years ago. I had forgotten they existed.
Wives do these things, but what would we do without them?

While doing a post-holiday clean up, I turned up four exposed rolls of 120 Tri-X from last Fall that was in one of my gear bags.

Moral of the story is that you can have too many gear bags in the hall closet.
