I bought a book called "Robert Doisneau Portfolio" yesterday. (Taschen, paperback, ISBN: 3822834718, August 2004)

I has 14 of his photos. Overall it is an 11X14 inch size book, but the pictures are slightly smaller. They are also printed on individual pages so that that they can be removed and framed.

It was only $7.98. I noted that Amazon is selling it for $9.99, but that is plus shipping. I bought it at a local book store called Half-Price Books. They are located in several other cities around the US and have a website.

A very nice book, especially at that price.

Interesting! I'll keep an eye out for it next weekend if I'm going into town.

That too is my favorite, but I think the most famous is "The Kiss" of the couple in Paris.

I love Doisneau's work and I've managed to find a couple cheap but very good books about it. One is a small one from Taschen as well but includes a lot of his pictures and some nice multi-language writing/bio as well, author Jean-Claude Gautrand.

The other ons is from Peter Hamilton, only in Spanish.

Both books are real nice, and his pictures had a humanity content which I really really like.

I believe that there is also an Aperture book or one of the Aperture magazines that featured his work. His stuff is really great.
