so im looking through the threads and well you all have really got me intrested in leica's. Im really intrested in picking one up, my wife is going to be starting classes and well ill be the supporter of the family for at least some years, and well i was wanting to at least get one before she starts so i can have a nice reliable camera. what do you all recommend for a newbie new to rangefinders but wants to really put time and effort into it, something that will be pretty reliable, i was looking at the older m's and they seem to go for pretty cheap, like the m5's i really like those just dont really know where to start, so i want to see what you all think.

1) What's your budget for a body + one or two lenses?
2) What cameras have you used in the past?
3) What are you planning on taking photos of?
4) Do you wear glasses?
5) What's your favorite focal length?
