Interesting theme. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be interpreted.
Taken last Friday. GS645S, XP2, front lit w/ direct flash, backlit w/ Coleman lantern. 60 sec. @ F5.6.

Nice shot, Bryce. Love the contrast.
Haven't participated in these Salons before but here's one:
Kiev 4, Jupiter 8(my fake "contax"). Can't remember any exposure data.

If you look carefully down this passage you will see that it is 1913 at the far end. Picture taken at Beamish Museum in August with Zorki 1 and Industar 22, film is Agfa XRG 200 asa and exposure guessed using the sunny 16 rule.
Hi Lushd,

Thanks to everyone who participated this month. There are a lot of great submissions and it will not be easy to choose a winner. I’m traveling this weekend with limited internet access, but I’ll post my selection by tomorrow night. Thanks again!

I think Bill Barber's photo really explores the theme on multiple levels. You have a physical passage of course, but a metaphorical one as well, with the young men on a passage to adulthood. Above all, it’s just a great photo. Nice job Bill!
The quality of the submissions this month once again reminded me of why I got involved with RFF in the first place. Thanks for the opportunity to participate!
Congrats to Bill. And excellent selection, Bud.
Peter
I can only agree it's a great shot, I remember it caught my attention in the gallery!
Well done Bud! :)

Congratulations Bill! That's a wonderful image. And thanks to Bud for the inspiring theme.
Congratulations Bill; excellent shot.
I also like Budgreen's comment; his approach to the theme is very interesting, and the reasons of his choice are subtle.
Again congrats Bill!
