Do you have specific questions?
Several of us here on RFF own these cameras.
I have a copy of the original review from Amateur Photographer magazine (UK) from 1973.
It is in the form of a couple of jpegs. However I haven't a clue how to attach them here, but if anyone would like to see them please email me personally and I will gladly send them.
Paul
If you want, e-mail them to me and I can post them here on the site. My e-mail is slfaust at charter dot net
Sorry Stephen but I am unsure how to attach it to you via PM too. Can't find the option to add it. Can you help?
Thanks
BTW I have just put a couple of S3 shots in my gallery.
Paul
Use the e-mail address I listed in the post above yours.
"slfaust at charter dot net" except in the normal format, ie @ for at and . for dot. Just trying to avoid the mail address grabbers!
The Konica S3, Vivitar ES and Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII, were all made by Cosina. The lenses are very good. You'll really like it.

kuvvy, when starting to reply to a thread message, if you use the "Quote" button or "Post Reply" button to bring up a reply form (instead of using the "Post Reply/Your Reply" box at the bottom of the thread), those forms give you the option of attaching a graphic file from your hard drive.
Sorry Stephen, I didn't read your posting thoroughly enough. I will send you the files.
Thanks Doug for your help I will try to attach them here too for everyone.

One of out members has offered his camera, including a Minolta 7s-II, for sale here before going to auction. The Minolta is a great price at $100. Usually goes for more when on Auction. It has full manual override compared to the S3.

Russ, it's from the August 22nd, 1973 issue.

Are you kidding? In 73, I was a strapping young lad in junior High school. Totin' around an old Yashicamat 124 and an old Petri 35mm

I see you had a healthy subject interest even at such a tender age, Russ!
