The server is a dual pIII 1.2 compaq dl360 G2 runnin Solaris 8 with the latest build of apache.

Interesting, I'm running a linux with the "old" apache 1.3 and php+mysql as our department webserver. Not sure if I'll have to update it to apache 2.0 though...

OTH, I would like to give a try to Solaris, maybe someday if I find a good "frankenstein" machine and some free time... :)
